BIRTHDAY GIRLS!!!It is hard to believe that a whole year has passed since our sweet princess made her grand appearance on June 5, 2009 (sweet Wendy's birthday)! To say it has been a busy, fun year would be an understatement! Having a little girl has been so much fun, especially to someone who loves all things pink;)

Homemade strawberry cupcakes. I got the recipe from the Martha Stewart book, Cupcakes. You need this book if you like to bake! Mine did not look quite as good as hers did though- ha!
She was not really into the cake. She did not want to put her hands in it. Such a girl!

The only downside about her birthday: After her party, she went right to sleep. When I got her up from her nap, she was kind of warm and acting fussy. By that night, she had a full blown fever that lasted until Tuesday night (I thought it was her ears and took her to the doctor on Monday morning. Luckily, it was just a virus). Not a good way to start being one:( But we are glad that she is better now and back to her old self!
