Weekend Recap...

What a busy weekend! We had a great time this weekend, which started Thursday night when Heath's best college friend, Scott, and his precious finace, Kristy, flew in from Houston. It was their first time to meet Cade, and he loved them! The four of us went to the UT/South Carolina game (Go Vols!), and we left Cade in Kingston to spend the night with his Nana Diana. This was only the second time ever that Cade stayed away from Mama and Daddy, but he got a good report card (although Nana said if he had cried all night, she would never tell:). We enjoyed taking Scott and Kristy on their first trip to Neyland stadium, and even got to see Phil Fulmer at the tailgate...

On Sunday, Cade and I went to a wedding shower for one of my nearest, dearest friends, Casey McMillin (who we miss very much!) and her fiance, Jason. We had a great time seeing everyone, and are looking forward to their big day in Charleston on March 22, 2008! Here are a few pictures from the shower:

Heath, Cade and I went to Lebanon's Annual Oktoberfest this weekend (having a baby has made us realize that town festivals are the new weekend fun:) More importantly, Cade wore his new outfit that Heath's mom, Pam, made for him. Heath even likes it because it has horses on it. Thanks, Pammy!

P.S. Cade wanted to say that he really enjoyed his Pa Billy's visit this weekend!

Pickin' Pumpkins...

To celebrate fall, we took Cade to the pumpkin patch to get our annual mums and pumpkins for the porch. Cade especially loved the colorful mums!

Cade had his 6 month checkup and shots last Friday. He weighed in at a whopping 20.5 lbs. (90th percentile- he loves to eat!), and was 27.5 inches long (75th percentile). She also said we could start trying juice and water in a sippy cup. Looks like he likes it!

Happy Birthday Maddie!

Happy 1st Birthday today to one of Cade's favorite cousins, Miss Madeline Grace Floyd (Maddie). We went on Saturday to her first birthday party and had a great time!
