Just a few new ones...
Not much to post- we have just been busy at home and trying to stay cool (summer moved in fast!). Here are a few I took over the weekend:

A whole week already???
I feel like we just got home from the hospital, and now a whole week has passed! It is crazy how fast time goes by when you have a second baby! Mom stayed most of last week to help (thank you Nana- we miss you already!) I think my true test starts tomorrow when Heath is back at work full time!
We have had fun this week getting to know Miss Emmy. She is such a sweet baby, and is pretty content most of the time (but when she gets too hungry, she lets you know quick!). Sleep wise, we are a little tired, but at least I knew what to expect this time around. She eats frequently during the day, but usually does get out a good 3-4 hour stretch at night, which I know is pretty normal for a newborn. It is not too bad to me because 1.) I did not sleep well at all by the end of my pregnancy, so I was used to it and 2.) Cade was up eating more frequently at night when I first brought him home, which left me feeling like a zombie.
Thanks for all the well wishes, we are really enjoying our little princess!

Brotherly Love
Cade has been loving having a new sister! At the hospital Saturday, he kept asking us to please bring her home. He greeted us at the front door yesterday when we got home and was so excited to see her. We were laughing at him because he wanted to give her a grand tour of the house starting with her room. Then he moved onto his room and toys:) He has been a good helper and I know he will be a great brother!

EMMY IS HERE!
Hey everyone, this is Heath creating my first blog (with the patient instructions of Kelly over my shoulder). Emma June Thorne arrived yesterday at 4:35 p.m. and was a petite 6.7 lbs and 19 inches long. Mom and baby are doing great and she has already gotten a real show from her new big brother who was more interested in entertaining the crowd last night than seeing the baby. Below are a few pictures to hold you over until the real blogger is back at the wheel.
Mommy Daddy and the new princess of the house. (sorry Kelly)
