The Crockett Triplets are here!

This morning, Cade gained three new little friends. Heath's best friend, Ian Crockett, and his wife Banica welcomed Ian Thomas, Campbell Louise and Eleanor Rhea into the world today just after 8 a.m. Little Ian weighed 4 lbs. 3 oz., Elea Rhea is 4 lbs. 9 oz., and Campbell weighed 4 lbs. 7 oz.. All three were exactly 17 inches long. The babies and Mama are all healthy and will hopefully be home early next week. What a blessing! We are so excited for them! I am sure Cade will teach them lots of things in the future:)

On the way to a mouthful of pearly whites!

After several weeks of Cade having sudden fussing fits (sometimes during the day, sometimes during the night) and excessive drooling, not to mention the fact that everything goes straight to the mouth, I knew that he HAD to be working on a tooth.
This morning, he was trying to gnaw on Heath's finger. Heath said, "Kelly, get in here, I think Cade just bit me!" Lo and behold, there it was- a white spot where his first tooth had broken through the gums! We were so excited and little Cade was grinning from ear to ear (just trying to show it off, I guess:).
I am assuming that the second bottom tooth will follow in a few days. Once they come in good, I will post some pictures.

Cade and his friends!

Even though the Vols disappointed, Cade had a great time watching the game with his friend from Union City, Tucker Davis (Angela and Jay Davis' adorable one year old), and his favorite girl Isabel (David and Mandy Walden's baby girl who is one month older than him). Needless to say, they all looked good in their orange, even if the football team didn't!

Weekly Update!

This past week, Cade has had a few major breakthrooughs. First, he spent his first night without Mama last Sunday. He stayed at Rick and Pam's house, and they said he was very good (he slept all night- yes!). He continued his good sleeping throughout the week, so Heath and I have been much happier campers (although we are trying not to count our chickens before they're hatched;). He also discovered his feet, and likes to grab them. This weekend, we are going to Kingston/Knoxville for the game. Cade is going to spend Saturday with Mom (she so graciously sacrificed her ticket so Heath and I could go to the game, but I am sure she does not mind). I hope everyone has a great weekend!
