Wilson County Fair

Miniature donkeys

Petting Zoo

Feeding the goats

Last week brought one of Lebanon's biggest attractions (besides the Cracker Barrell): The Wilson County Fair. As small town as it may sound, this year's fair set crowd records with over 430,000 visitors over the course of the week. The fair has so many neat attractions, including tons of livestock and tractor exhibits, rides, concerts, racing pigs, the petting zoo, pageants, a hypnotist and of course everyone's favorite- fair food. The fair is one of my absolute favorite things about Lebanon, and we made three trips this year. Pa Billy even cam with us on Satuday night. Cade enjoyed the fair last year, but was really into it this year, pointing at all the animals and letting us know what sound they make . He also loved all the tractors, free popsicles, the high diving show, and the demolition derby (okay, so he is a little bit of a redneck:) We are already looking forward to next year's fair!

Okay so our Nebraska State Fair does not ever compare! I am jealous...never thought I would say I missed the Wilson Co. Fair. I even took a trip to the Iowa State fair and again...no comparison...guess that is why we have the beer gardens so people will show up.

Check out the orange polo! What a little man!

Love and miss you all,
Lacy

Crandy and Pam sure do put on a great fair...hahaha. looks like you guys had a great time. Mom and I had a blast with Cade on the "behind the scenes fair tour." He was great company and such a vocal guide with his infamous rooster sound!!!! Love, AUNT B
